EAU guideline: penile size abnormalities and dysmorphophobia

Limitations: The EAU rates the recommendation as weak and describes the supporting evidence as poor, heterogeneous, and based on small cohorts. It does not endorse Epic Extender or any specific commercial device.

Limitations: This evidence mainly concerns men with Peyronie's disease and the recommendation is weak because outcome data are limited.

Limitations: The paper emphasizes modest gains, variable protocols, limited long-term data, and uncertainty about whether one device is superior to another.
Pilot prospective study of a penile extender for short penis

Limitations: Small, single-arm study; only 15 men completed treatment, daily use was lengthy, and girth did not change significantly.
Penile extender in men with shortened penis

Limitations: Small, uncontrolled preliminary study with an intensive wear schedule; it does not establish results for other devices or shorter protocols.
Controlled multicenter traction study in stable Peyronie's disease

Limitations: Participants had stable Peyronie's disease, used a specific device for 3–8 hours/day, and mild adverse effects were reported in 43%.
Randomized controlled traction trial in Peyronie's disease

Limitations: The trial studied men with Peyronie's disease using one specific device; it is not evidence that every traction product produces the same outcome.
Systematic review of interventions in normal men concerned about size

Limitations: The review concludes that evidence for enhancement in anatomically normal men is scant and low quality.

Limitations: Erect measurements were available for fewer participants than flaccid measurements, and measurement methods varied between studies.
